Default Lloyds VFC settings

Hi all, sorry if this has been answered. I did a search and didn't find a specific answer. I am looking for settings for Lloyds VFC for 2012 XC, Lloyds high flow air filter and Adam bomb slip on pipes.

Lloyds mapped the following
G 3.5 Y4 R1 G/B0 Y/B5 R/B3

Ryland in Iowa suggested
G1 Y1 R0 G/B0 Y/B6.5 R/B7

I found that the Lloyds setting caused popping at the shift from 1 to 2 gear. Ryland's setting seems to cause popping between 2-3rd gear but less popping than the Lloyds setting. It also seems that there is less black soot on the ends of the pipes with Ryland's setting.

Does anyone have suggestions on this?

thanks
John

the setting you need to be concerned with is the green, green runs idle to cruise, since your bike is rich on low end already, you are adding fuel causing more popping. try 1/2 or even 0. this is why i pulled my vfc off and went to pcv

Default Thanks

I set the G to the lowest setting. I don't think it made much of a difference. What did you set the other colors to?

Thanks for the help.

Default Yikes!

So unplug the controller?

I would have to plug in the 02 monitors etc right? I am afraid of running the motor too lean and burning valves

Does the PCV give you that much better performance?

Thanks?

no need to plug the O2s back in, just disconnect the vfc3 ground and go for a ride see what it does. if it fixes your popping you will answer your own pcv question.
