Question 4th gear issues

My 1999 V92C #1144 just started what seems like backlash from the transmission when in 4 th gear. When I'm easy on 4th not winding it out, its fine. If I get on it , winding past 2800 RPM it starts this back lash, once I let off the throttle it's okay. The RPM's don't seem to drop when this happening. The rest of the gears seem fine. I was wondering what is causing this and what damage is being done while this is happening?
Any ideas?

Thanks, Mark

mmm so thats the issue a bent fork, i rather sell the bike than not taking engine apart just to fix a fork, my doesnt have any recall done so it will explode eventually. and there is no selling kit to fix 3 any way
