Default bone head move of the year

Finally got the time to trouble shoot my electrical. I have had my bike apart more than I can count this spring, but this was to be my last time. Soldered all my connections, jumped some wires around the harness, got my blinker to work, RTVed some connections, picked up my rear fender for reinstall... slip BANG. Nice big ding and a gouge in the finish. FML. At least the electrical is done. Hammered out the ding, and hopefully I can patch the gouge and find something at least close to the color. AND I WAS SOOOOO CLOSE!!

I use a shipping blanket on the floor and roll the bike on to it. It helps alot.

Yeah, I have it covered around my bike, but my work table ( also covered) is at the back of garage. I found a match to the paint... kinda, so it's not as noticeable now. Plus I picked up a fender bib so it's all good.

So are you on the road yet? When do we get pics of the bike?

I've been traveling so much that I haven't been able to ride. After riding over 9k miles last year, I've only put on 500 so far this year. Now I have to live vicariously through everyone else.
