Default Wider Rear Tire

Hey guys i posted this on another thred but nobody had any info on it so i figured i would start my own. i have a 99 V92C with a
160/80B16 rear tire i would like to put a little wider tire on the back. i was thinking of a 180/65B16 i dont know if anybody has done this or it anyone knows if this will fit. hopfully i get some answers.

I have not tried it, but what you have to do is measure the distance you have from the swing arm to the tire and the fender to the tire, than find the width of the tire you are going to use and see if it will fit. You have leave a little room for tire flex. Make sure you measure the actual tire you are going to use. Different manufactures tires are not always the exact same size.

Measure the clearance between the chain and the tire.

I looked into this for my custom build. You need a wider rim but it wont clear the belt.

You should be able to go one size bigger or wider.
