Default Wire Wheels

I have a chance to buy a really nice set of wire wheels really cheap.
So my question is can i use the tire off my solid wheels with a tube?
The tire on the front of my bike is like new and i would like to use it.
Just in case your wondering i really like the looks of wire wheels, always have always will.

As long as the wheel is the same width and diameter, you can use a rim strip and a tube on the spoked wheel and keep your fairly new tire

I agree. I like laced wheels better than mags too. They just look classy in my opinion. I want to do the same thing someday.
