Exclamation Help needed... Did I order the wrong part??

Hey Folks,

I ordered a rear fender for my bike from Victory Motorcycle OEM Parts - Cross Country, Hammer, Vision. As I did research I am pretty sure that there is only one type of black available...gloss black. I am sure the guy said that I was ordering a factory part that needed no work as it would come in the right color. Well it came in and it is 'flat' or a dull black.

Am I wrong in thinking the the part would come in already painted gloss black? Do all body parts come in needing prep?
Is there more than one black color for the 2003 V92TC?

Any help is appreciated... I can post pics if needed

Part Number is 1013164-329, 1013164-266

Thanks for this. So you think the guy sent me the part for the wrong model? Or do they have two different blacks? Flat or matte, and gloss?

didn't see any listing for flat black. Might of been the only way he could get the fender. If you go to body shop to get it painted. Make sure you take a long a black part. Yes there is more then on shade of black
