Ran across this on Craigslist. The guy said it came from Russia.

Since BMW had the speedo in the headlight all the way up into the
60's, I guess Victory borrowed the idea from them.
It's one thing on my bike I don't like. All you can see is the speed and rpm's, but I find I have to take my eyes off the road far too long to check the trip meter or the time. I rather have it on the tank with a regular manual trip meter as opposed to the digital one.
I hope that's all I have to gripe about.

Yeah...Urals are Russian copies of older boxer BMW's, and usually have a sidecar attached.

Doesnt bother me where the speedo is, since I dont bother looking at it!

2003 Vegas - straight pipes, Big Sucker air filter kit, black powder coated everything - foot controls, handlebars, clutch and brake housing, fork lowers, luggage rack, wheels, digital speedo with powder coated housing. Relocated key switch, red plug wires. Mustang solo seat. LED ring blinkers in front. Black DEI pipe wrap.

I like where the speedo and tach are on my Vegas. Looking down at the tank to view gauges is so harley davidson.
