Default Sticker Shock

Well got a call from the dealer and my bike is ready and being held for ransom!! Thank god I replaced the dead battery on my own only due to I couldn't get it started to drop it off after I got it out of storage. That sticker shock has only set it a few days ago. Just a touch over 7 bills for 2 tires service and inspection seems a bit much to me. ImageUploadedByMO Free1367878423.288726.jpgheres a per ransom pic I snapped before I dropped it off.

I know. I had a belt and a rear LED light put on mine and it was around the same. Learned from that experience do as much as you can on your own. Tires are tough. Safety inspection I want to know exactly what they inspected. Checking my oil and belt tension is not a safety inspection. I want bolts torqued, tire pressure, cable tension, check of electrical etc for what they charge.

Blame it on me

We call it more of the state wanting money from inspections here. Starting this year they made a spot on the license plate for insp. sticker to be displayed never was displayed in the past and some bean counter figured out how many bikes registered vs insp. stickers there were. I'm capable of doing all my Maint but the bike has been dealer maintained since purchased new, its the first time for me having any work done there and will be very limited in the future.
