Default Exhaust compatibility - what fits what??

I have a 2000 V92SC that I just purchased that has some VERY LOUD aftermarket exhaust (open pipes).

I wish to go to a more 'factory' exhaust, but am not a fan of the upswept megaphone or other factory style exhaust that came on the SC when it was built. Nor have I seen any around for sale.

So, will an exhaust from a 2004 V92 Kingpin fit?

Are there other model exhaust systems that will fit?

I don't mind having some hangers or brackets that need mod/fab but it needs to bolt up to the engine with no problems or get routed into a frame rail or wiring harness in the way.

03-05 vegas kingpin victory performance exhaust fit and sound beautiful, found them on ebay for 199, not too loud. you have to make a new rear bracket though.

Have you or someone else here done this? I like the way the ones on ebay look (both used factory and the new aftermarket)

awesome -- thanks. Now I just need to find a decent set on eBay and hope I don't get junk.

Thanks for the quick replies.

I have a 2005 V92TC Dual exhaust on mine. If you don't mind taking the time to make brackets it can be done.

brackets are easy enough, it's getting them to bolt to the cylinders, not run into the frame rails or other components and not be in the way of controls or have your legs resting on them that are the bigger issues.

All V92's exhaust will bolt up to the 99-01 motor. they all fallow the same curve. You wont have a problem there. I have seen several ones Rylan Vos has done.

I have a 2000SC that had the same straight pipe problem. I bought a set mufflers from a 2005 8 Ball or Jackpot for 25.00, brand new on Ebay. They bolted right up and yes I had to make a support bracket but that was easy. I love the more quieter sound, well worth it

so you think something like this would fit the 2000 V92SC? I was going to go with a used pair for a 2004 Kingpin but then saw your post and these pipes. From the part number they quote it looks like these might be Stage 1 pipes / mufflers.
