Ordered Barnett from the "Doctor". May order the end piece if it looks like it will reach when I dis-assemble, and keep as spare if possible.
And Yeah, "Lube the ends
" will be part of oil change procedure.
check for sharp edges or burring inside the clutch handle valley where the cable meets the end. I have also had good luck using white lithium grease, loosening my handle and placing a shot up in there during my oil changes. Not so much as a bur in over 14K and good smooth handle pull too. Food for thought.
