Default "Default" settings for digital MFD (2004 V92TC)

Does anyone know if there is a way to change the default settings for the digital display?

Currently, when I turn the bike on, it automatically comes up with the bike's mileage and you can scroll through for the trip odometer, time, brightness, high beam indicator brightness, fuel gauge and voltmeter. All this isn't a real p.i.t.a., but what agitates me is that because I do a lot of early morning and late night riding, I need to scroll to the brightness control to adjust it up EVERY TIME I START THE BIKE.

I'm hoping there is a way to change the settings so it stays where I want...But I can't find anything in the owner's manual about changing the default settings....Figured I'd turn to the gurus here. Any advice is most welcome, even if it's to tell me to stop wasting my time because there isn't a way....at least I'll know.

I don't think you can. it's programed that way and i didn't see anything
in my manual to change it. It would be nice to have that option.

Could you possibly have a weak bulb or something? Because I have to ride a lot and night too and I've never had to change mine because it wasn't bright enough.
