Default Exhaust question

I have a 2001 V92C. My question has 2 parts. First, is there a cheap/easy way to get a better sound out of the stock pipes? I have heard removing the baffles is an option, but wasn't sure of the result if I do that. Has anyone had that experience? Also, I will eventually be getting a set of pipes for it. As I understand, the header pipe is 1-3/4". As I am having trouble finding a decent set of pipes (Vance and Hines, cobra, ect.) that are exact fit, I was wondering if any 1-3/4" pipes would work? I am assuming I would have to modify some things to mount them, but as far as fitting and performing, will any 1-3/4" pipes work? I would also be open to suggestions as to where I can find a decent set that are exact fit. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks for that site. I only saw one set of stock exhaust, but I'm pretty sure they have every other part on earth for a victory. Will definitely be helpful in the future. Again, thank you.

I've seen some good deals and their inventory is always changing. I got my exhaust from them, among other things. Really good bunch of people. They don't charge an arm and a leg either.

Yeah. It does seem like a good place to keep checking. Of I don't end up getting pipes, I'm sure I'll end up getting something from there.

You can look at these but they are pretty pricey.

Also I ran across a thread on another forum that had a few exhaust pipes from other models that will fit. I will try to find that post.

I would appreciate that. From what I gather, as long as the inlet is 1-3/4", it'll fit. It's just a matter of getting it to mount correctly.
