Default 2004 Cruiser heel toe shifter

I hate the location of the heel shifter it is right where I put my foot at when taking off.Is the any other shifter that will work and look good.Or is any other solution to this being in the way?

Take a saw to it and clean it up with a grinder and its not a problem anymore.

Funny...I found myself having this same problem last weekend. I kept thinking it was slipping out of first into neutral. Then I realized it was me. My 01 goes into neutral with just a HINT of a touch.

I've never had a bike with heel/toe shifter, so I don't think I'd feel like I was missing anything if I hacked it off there.

My dad's 62 Honda 50 had a heel shift, that's how much they suck. I disassembled the linkage to get a clean cut and filed it clean. Now much betta. No one will miss it when selling.
