Default Going to add fairing to my 04V92TC

Looking for thoughts/inputs or lessons learned adding a fairing to a 04V92TC. Having read all I could here and several other reviews, I am leaning towards purchasing from WideOpen Custom fairing with the 10" charcoal shield. I like the wind break I have with the current stock shield and am hoping the 10" is not overkill and find out I should have went with the 8". I will be having it painted same as the bike both front and back sides.
I know the 5 1/2 looks tight but I am planning more trips up to DC and back (live in Chesapeake Va) using the scenic route (about 4.5 hours) so wanted to keep my deflection up. I did like the fact for $850.00 you can get it with speakers and a Jensen MSR3007 mobile audio system.

So, anyone used their fairing and have anything good/bad to say? One of my main concerns was visability of the built in speedo in the front headlight after installing the fairing. Wondering how much of it was covered. For those that havent view WOC fairings I am including the link to their site. Thank again for your input.

Tim

Hey did you add your fairing?
I'm fixing to order a WOC fairing for my TC, I was wondering if I'm going to have to lower or modify the headlight assembly in anyway or will it just bolt right on.

Wound up going with a HD Batwing keeping it simple vs the stereo. From what I have read, install the WOC bracket and mount the fairing with only minor tweaks. Nothing like lowering a headlight. Only thing is the speedo becoming somewhat obscured. I seen several pics with a WOC fairing and it looks TIGHT! Post pics, winter never got bad enough for me to take the time to mount it.... lol... Good luck!

Yea I'd like to see your batwing when you get it mounted.

I'm telling my wife I'm getting the fairing so I can ride to work year round to save on gas but it's really the tunes I want lol.

WOC has two TC's in their Victory gallery so I know it can be fitted, when I place my order I'm going to do it over the phone so I know their sending me what I need. Don't see many Vic's with the round headlight any more. I'm ordering the shaped windshield and freedom wings too going to put my own system together though. Cant wait.

I will have it on before fall for sure. I ride year round also and we didn't have but about 3 weeks in the low twenties, high teens that made for a stiff ride to/from work on the hands. My Goldwing riding partner made sure to continuously comment on his heated grips... lol..

The WOC would be my next choice and like i said, seen several with it and looks really good. Tell the wife its for safety sake, warmer hands with the deflected air... And somewheres to hook your IPOD up for recharging so you can call her when your late... lmao! Good luck and looking forward to the pics.
