Default fuel pump help

is there an aftermarket fuel pump for the 99 v92c? tried to trouble shoot mine by taking off the fuel line b4 the injectors and turned the bike over and didn't see any fuel coming out. Do you have a certain amount of gas to have that test work. It has been sitting for about a year. I replaced everything but the pump.

I would think you have to leave the connected and put a pressure gauge on the fitting to see if it works.
You could rent a gauge at the auto store.
Check the vic shop he rebuilds pumps

There is an aftermaket replacment, and there is a recall kit for the '99. I can only assume yours has been recalled at some time in the last 12 years, but the kit is still available and includes alot of the fuel lines as well. Last I checked the recall kit with the new pump and lines was about $15-$20 more than an aftermarket one without the lines. IMHO better to get the Victory pump kit.

I sell fuel pumps for the 99-01 bikes. About $100 less than through Victory - they are $175 plus shipping. Just call to order one.

Default Fuel Pump

That's the problem with these bikes, parts are hard to come by
so they rape you for anything you need.In the short time i have
owned mine everything i look at is way overpriced. I was reading a
history on victory's on Wikipedia's web site and they say the fuel
system was GM parts on the v92. Not sure what all is GM but it might
be worth looking into.
