Going to be a 99-2001 v92. A freedom v92 will not work due to the tranny changing in 02 then the full freedom v92 in 2002 on. I think your intentions are good but ay wind up with similar issues. First see if you can find the mod mark for the tranny upgrade. Next the one fir the speedo which resolves it resetting to zero miles. Both threads on here, just don't recall specifics.

You may cut to the chase and call one of the high horse power bubbas on here and get some input and pricing on parts. Intake controller and EPROM with the right pipes and a good Dyno will bring it to life.
Used engines run the risk of cracked front cans if bike was crashed. Read too many bad buys to even think of a used engine from a smash.
Mileage. 60k on a Vic ain't nothin. Hopefully some food fir thought.
