Default V92TC Mustang seat passenger backrest loose

I installed a Mustang seat on my V92TC with the Mustang passenger backrest. I used the factory bolts and washers to attach the backrest. The Mustang backrest slides onto the factory backrest holder more towards the back of the backrest so that the backrest really moves around. Anyone else with a similar set up, what did you do to fix this? Just pick up some new bolts with a longer set of screws so I can secure it tighter?
