Default V92 Apes

Hey all...I've been wanting to swap out my t-bars for a set of apes. Anyone here have a parts list of things I would need? Pics help to thanks...thinking of either 14's or 16's/ Rode a road king with 18's and they where a little high for me.

As far as I know there is no parts list for this. I am installing 1.25" 16" apes on mine right now. I am using an HD clam and drag specialties bars. I have ordered custom length throttle and clutch cables, brake line. I will be relocating the throttle advance to under tank. I am also going to be running internal cables.

Just got my bars and cables shipped to me yesterday. Plan on putting them on this weekend. I'll try to post up afterwards to let you know what size cables I could have gotten away with once I get them on. Sure I probably ordered them long. Still have to order the brakeline once I get the bars on so that I can see exactly what I'll need. I'll try to remember to post that too. Phatperformance had the best prices on barnett cables that I found. It's where I ordered mine from.

Also, to figure out what size bars I wanted, I set a tape measure on my triple trees and extended it to the the height of the size bars I was considering. Was a little easier to visualize it that way. Hope that made sense.

Got the bars in place, and the cables attached to the bike, but still have the levers and switches off because I have to splice and solder all my electrical wires. The brakeline I ended up ordering is 10" over. 9" over would have worked. I had previously ordered 12" over cables, and am pretty sure I could have gotten away with 8 inch over cables. FTR, Barnett cables are NICE! I'll see if I can get pics of the bars posted. I'm 5'7" and the 16 inch bars put my hands just barely above shoulder level. I used the stock riders and the bars I bought were 1", so they bolted right in.

nice...where did you get the cables? How do you order the sizes? Do they just ask how much over you want? Are they on here somewhere? Thanks a lot, looks good. I like the black idea

I ordered my cables through phatperformance and my brakeline through conquest. You just fill out how many inches over stock when you place your order.

Still working on getting my bars and wiring finished, but figured i'd post this for anybody doing the same thing. The 10" over brake line I ordered is really nice, but I should have ordered the 12" over line so i could run it where the stock one was. I made it work, but the 12" over one would have been better.

Here she is all done. Wanted to run the wires through the bars, but with the angle at the bottom, I couldn't get the 14 spliced wires through them.
