Heyyyyy RICZ, good point, it is just soooo tame or boring... Just look at all the vic bikes

The lines / length / design

It just looks much more like finished product

Default 2017 Harley-Davidson Road King Special FLHRXS First Ride Review

I sat on one today before my ride (we left from T-Town HD). Beautiful bike, but I'd have to change the mini-apes. They are too short and too far forward. Add a black Daymaker headlight, and that is probably my second bike.

The bags are very close to as big as my Vic's.

As far comparing them to XR's or other Vic's, I'll wait till Victory comes out with its 2018 line to judge.

It's a sweet bike. Paint, fit and finish can't be beat....if you cant see the updates on an old classic, you haven't looked very closely.

Are you pondering what I'm pondering?

Default 2918 line?

Boy I would like to see the 2018 line also. Oh yeah we seen that line back in history along with the 1985 line of Victorys. LOL.

I have learned not to love them because those I've ridden handled poorly and are too cramped even for my average height and inseam. In my riding club, there are 2/3 Harleys and the other 1/3 is other brands, mostly Victorys. All too often, a Harley or two is AWOL due to "being in the shop" while the other brands can be counted on for 100% attendance. One member has had 3 Harleys in as many years due to too many failures. Another has had 2 Harleys in 2 years for the same reason. My Vic is over 7 years old and has never failed me.
Now, if you "love" the look of Harley, that's another thing. But remember, that kind of beauty is only skin deep.

2010 Midnight Cherry XR. 7Jurock, Lloydz AF, ATS, AFR tuned VFCIII, IAV, and T-6 and locally repacked pipes = big smiles. SOLD to a dear friend, so it's still in the family."
2017 Spyder F3 Limited - keeps this old guy in the wind and riding with friends.
