Default Poll: How Do You Feel About Loud Pipes?

Quote:
'Loud pipes save lives' and 'the louder it is the faster it is' are all phrases you’ve probably heard before, but for a lot of people – particularly the non-riding public – loud exhausts prove to be obnoxious. Which camp do you find yourself in?

My hearing is shot as well but the wind noise did it to me. Much worse than the exhaust. By the time I started wearing earplugs, too late.

Not all those who wander are lost.

I'd take the poll but there are only 2 choices. Too loud and too quiet. Don't like either one.

Sticking my head in the speakers at Black Sabbath gigs two nights in a row, plus a lifetime of grinding welds without earmuffs ( they're for girls right?)
As well as standing next to Top Fuel Hemi startup invite pits at the drags and not covering my ears cos I was drunk ten foot tall and bulletproof take their toll on hearing.
The last straw was Radio Birdman (google em)
Playing live at the Triffid over a year ago, my left ear copped a real flogging.
It was so fkn LOUD the vocals were unintelligible mush!
A bit like my brain was afterwards!
Radio Birdman!

Hardcore Aussie 1970s punk,
I saw them back then too.
They couldn't get venues that would hire them so they bought an old run-down inner city pub and started their own venue!
It took off.
Not to everyone's tastes for sure!

I want to hear the bike... and I want cars around me to get the 'heads-up' of a rumble before they see me... but:
