Thoughts on the best year jackpot to purchase? The reason I ask is a guy close to me has an 06 jackpot with 7,000 miles for sale asking $10,500. Through all my looking I've done I can buy a 11 or 12 for the same price similar miles. His has a few mods including aftermarket handlebars, s&s Intake, platinum bleed ride suspension, 4" forward controls, custom front fender, aftermarket exhaust, cam covers, cheese wedges, luggage rack and backrest. He's telling me $4,000 in addons. Is this bike worth it or is a newer model with 106 the way to go? I really like the look of this 06. Let me know any thoughts..
he wants to recover the coast of the extra parts he put on it.
What do you think. There is a lot of 06 out there with some extras
if you can afford a 11 or 12 do it when you go to sell it you'll get more then you would on a 06
If this is it I would say No.
It will lower your bike to nothing and a push of a button it will raise it.
You'll get a somewhat smooth ride on good roads. But if you ride back roads and into the countryside you're going to get a harsh ride.
The stock shock would give you a smoother ride in my opinion
good morning
i went through a similar dilema out here in vancouver
there are a lot of victory jackpots and ness for sale any where from 7 to 15k canadian
looked at most of them but when i saw the right one it just jumped out at me
my wife and buddies like ones i passed on but they dont get to ride it
i would say you will know when you see the right one
its your bike bike follow your heart
also if sales are anything like they are up here used bikes dont sell fast offer what you are comfortable with
good luck
Meehhh, Jackpots seem to be appreciating in value. I just got 9k for my 010 with 26k miles. So I bought an '09 with 15k miles for 5500 and pocketed the diff..
They're pretty cheap I wouldnt spent over about 5-6g's on one..the pre 08 have higher compression and are faster than the newer 106 ci ones from all I've read..but the resale value will be higher on a newer one..I nm paid 3800 for my 06 with 4600 miles and heavily modded..caught a deal though...it was traded in for work done by an army guy
I got this badass 06 with 8k miles with brand new Dunlop rubbers, fresh tuneup and new brakes under $5000
