Default Seat bolt question....

So i just changed the seat on my jackpot, the old 2-piece seat on the rear has the hex bolt and when its in the head of the bolt sticks up an is ugly as sin! So I went to home depot, lowes, 2 hardware stores, fastenal and can't find anything that will work and look good. Its a 8mm metric and I was thinking of finding just a pan head screw the same size but the biggest everyone has is 6mm.

I called 2 local dealers waiting on a call back from one right now but figure I would try here. I see that there are custom bolts online but for 20 bucks i'm all set, really all I needs is just a bolt that will sit flat and look decent.
