Default installing braided cable set on jackpot

So, I bought a cable set #2876358 for my 2012 Jackpot to install at the same time I installed my fly bars and grips.

I unravelled the cables and comparing them side by side with the old one, and I notice the clutch lever end of the new cable is a ball end, whereas the clutch lever end of the old cable is a barrel.

I brought this up to my dealer, where I bought the braided set, and he tried to sell me an adapter that fits the ball end and converts it into a barrel end. This does not sit well with me because it seems like a rigged up solution, so I returned the cables.

Can anyone tell me de facto whether this part number fits my bike, and if both end sof the clutch cable are suppose to be barrel ends or not?

I can take a pic of the existing one for reference if needed.

First pic is the clutch lever end that connects to handle bar.

Second pic is the clutch end that connects to engine.

Both have barrels.

The braided cables that are suppose to fit have a ball end where it connects to the handle bar.

Does anyone have a braided cable set they can check for both ends being barrels?

I think someone might have pulled a fast one at the dealership or they just gave me a wrongly labeled part.

I think that for now I will just use the stock cables until one of them breaks.

I don't really have the resources to play a guessing game.

My cable broke last year. Both ends were barrels. It's a very easy job.

Also look up Venhall. You make your own but everything is there. Hell you can make a set of throttle cables 7.5ft long for 50 dollars. Just saying.
