Default Digital speedometer

I was looking into putting a digital speedometer/ tac on my 09 Jackpot and didn't see any buttons on it to scroll through the menu. Do you use the black button that is already there at the 7:00 position?. For those of you that already have this digital speedometer installed how many have also put the sun shade on it? For looks or will I really need it? Also I purchased mine as NOS but it didn't come with the cover plate to replace the LEDs, anybody have a spare one that they aren't using?. Thanks in advance.

Ive got a Dakota Digital speedo/tach on my Vegas. I do not find that I need any kind of shade to read the thing - its bright enough even in direct sunlight to read it. Mine is wired into the headlight bucket, where there is a black button installed to run through the options menu.

2003 Vegas - straight pipes, Big Sucker air filter kit, black powder coated everything - foot controls, handlebars, clutch and brake housing, fork lowers, luggage rack, wheels, digital speedo with powder coated housing. Relocated key switch, red plug wires. Mustang solo seat. LED ring blinkers in front. Black DEI pipe wrap.

So-crates, do you have any pictures of it on your bike? I want one but the $$$ is high. I've seen them on you tube but never what it looks like on a victory.

I have a 2007 ness jackpot. I bought it 2 years ago. It came with a Victory digital speedo. It's awesome!! There are a ton of options on it. I highly reccomend it.

Default Victory Digital Tach/Speedo

I added the victory digital tach/speedo to my jackpot last year. It's awesome having all the information at the push of the button. You can see the gage at http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.c...rod/prd264.htm which is the manufacturer of the Victory digital gage. I sent the gage to Dakota Digital to officially update the odometer to the correct mileage on the bike.

You can see it mounted on my bike at https://www.victoryforums.com/album.php?albumid=304 .

I put the visor on, more for looks than anything. Kind of a pain to get water out of when you wash the bike, but again I like the looks. I think it does give you a better view of the gage in the sun, but even without the shade it is quite bright.

The one button on the gage bracket will be used to cycle through the menu system.

2006 Corey Ness edition Jackpot + the following MODS:
Stage 1 kit, Ness slash pipes and S&S air filter
Arlen Ness grips, flame mirrors, shift, clutch and brake levers.
Chrome perch covers, tank straps, front fork bolt covers, oiler cooler cover, crash bar, cam chain adjuster cover and oil temp dipstick.
Kuryakyn pegs
Victory windshield, chrome rear pulley and chrome belt guard.
Rear MBW red turn signals
Front LED signals
Ginz sissy bar & backrest
Arlen Ness flame mirrors
+ MORE
