Default fault code reader

Hi, Can anyone advice me on the best / cheapest fault code reader, for my victory jackpot . 2010 model.
Where can I get one, and how much are they ?

PS. I only want to read the code just to see why my engine light came on. I don't need the ability to adjust any settings or clear the code.

Thanks.

maybe your battery cables are loose and thats why you have the light on. What does your owners book say.

Some codes will clear and the light will go out after the issue is resolved. Some codes have to be cleared by the dealer in digital wrench.
