I put the Highball mini apes on my 2008 Vegas. But I bought the kit from Victory so it came with the proper length cables to replace the old one. They were only a few inches longer. But man it sure needed it.

Hi Alan, I remember speaking to Tony F on the phone about his and I asked the same question as you are and he said he didn't replace any cables on his stretch pot when he did the conversion all standard cable lengths

When I purchased my 2014 vegas I got the dealer to include the High ball ape bars and cables. You absolutely need the longer throttle cables, cluitch cable, and brake line. There was enough of the wiring stored in the headlight to safely run the electrical wiring to the new bars.
