Default Took it to the track

I wanted to see what it had....

Best run was [email protected] on a 1.987 60'.

It had a little more left in it if I was more aggressive but not much.

Bone stock bike and my first time at the track with a motorcycle.

Sorry....I figured since I posted in the Victory 8-Ball section it would imply that it was my Victory Hammer 8-Ball.

Anything in the 12s would excite me for a bone stock bike. What year bike is yours and is it a 106? I still have not had a chance to take my 07 hammer to the strip, but I'm definitely planning on it! I hope I can pull off a 12.xx with it being bone stock. Post your best timeslip, if you still have it. Would be nice to have as a reference.

My bike is a 2012 Victory Hammer 8-Ball.

One thing I noticed is that it seemed like the rev limiter kicked in earlier in the 1st and 2nd gear than in 3rd or 4th. I crossed the line at about 5k in 4th gear. I shifted out of 1st and 2nd at 5k and held out 3rd to just about 5,100 or 5,200. It seems to like that better.

THese things fall on their faces after the 1/8th mile. lol But they are fun to launch! I was racing a CBR600RR most of the time and he beat me by about 1.7 seconds and 22-25 mph each time.

I an take a pic tomorrow and post it from work. The DA correction was close to .2 seconds and there was a 12-15 mph head wind. So yeah, 12.7 is doable without question.

R/T = .120
60' = 1.978
330 = 5.319
1/8 = 8.196
MPH = 84.38
1000 = 10.761
1/4 = 12.983
MPH = 100.35

I was slipping the clutch out for maybe 15 feet with a tad of wheel spin and leaving at around 2500-2800 rpms.

I probably could have done a lowe 12.9 or a high 12.8 if I would have tried again but I had enough for one day and was ready to go home.

Rode the bike 112 miles to the track Friday night in just under 2 hours and never stopped. My ass hurt so freaking bad it was unreal. Got up the next morning and went to the track. No tire adjustments, no burn out to heat it up, just pull up and go.

I was able to get my 2013 Corvete 6-speed down the track the week prior in [email protected] Not bad for run flats on a track that is slightly uphill and its uphill at the line so I kept rocking back. The DA was over 2k that day too.

Its a good time. Anyone else in PA want to join? We are going back to race on the 7th of October at Beaver Springs.

You'll never need to type this again if you add it to your sig.
