Default Vegas "low" shock.

I have a 2010 Vegas 8 ball and am thinking of changing the shock for comfort reasons,am I right in thinking this is a "low" model as theres nothing on the documents to tell either way, thinking of progressive 465-1163 (long) as opposed to short. Has anyone been impressed with an improvement in ride quality with one of these units fitted?

2008 Suzuki B King,2010 Vegas 8 Ball,2006 BMW Z4.

Put the standard length progressive 465 on mine since I've already lowered it. Rides better, at factory settings, they seem to work the best. ? Dont know if its $500.00 better, but it handles better

shorter shocks must use stiffer springs to prevent bottoming. not sure about the progressive shock but the built for ME Penske did wonders for the hard riding 2013 Hammer of mine, about $300 more!!!
