Default Vegas "low" shock.

I have a 2010 Vegas 8 ball and am thinking of changing the shock for comfort reasons,am I right in thinking this is a "low" model as theres nothing on the documents to tell either way,thinking of progressive 465-1163 (long) as opposed to short. Has anyone been impressed with an improvement in ride quality with one of these units fitted?

Put the standard length progressive 465 on mine since I've already lowered it. Rides better, at factory settings, they seem to work the best. ? Dont know if its $500.00 better, but it handles better

06 vegas 8ball
lloydz timing kit @5 degrees
lloydz torque tubes
trask hot rod, 2 into 1pipes
lloydz drop in cams
1/4 turn throttle
2 inch lowering links
highball handlebars
113 hp 123 ft. Lbs. Torque
progressive shock

shorter shocks must use stiffer springs to prevent bottoming. not sure about the progressive shock but the built for ME Penske did wonders for the hard riding 2013 Hammer of mine, about $300 more!!!
