Default new vegas 8ball for me

Well not new but new to me. Just picked up a vegas and figured i better become a member and get busy on here since i already have a quite a few questions. Its an 06 and i got it with about 5600 on it for 6k in the midwest. I would post pics but you guys can probably imagine what a bone stock 06 8ball looks like. Just wanted to put a post out saying hello and thanks and sorry in advance.

First few questions i have are how did i do price wise? a victory was kind of spur of the moment and will have to learn as i go. Since you guys know the market better how did i do as far as an 068ball with 5700 for 6k? it is bone stock which im starting to relize is the trade off i may have made for the other one with more mods but a little higher price.

Second the passenger set-up is killing me. Really need one the woman in my life is not to happy thus far with the victory. Where should i go to get a set-up possiblly under $300 i saw the seats on ebay is that my best option? have a few family member who are machinist and could possibly make a mount bracket for the pegs but don't know which direction to go with this.

Finally and im sure this has been beat like a dead horse but i need to do a new owner lube change for my well being and would like to know the most effective and cheapest options or if i should just stick to the victory kit with the dealership price tag.

thanks agian and hello

First I would recommend the Vic oil only.

Ebay is your best bet for seat options however a pro-pad soes wonders!!

Now for my copy and paste welcome;

EBay for the seat, if I remember the pillion pegs are really expensive - more that the seat!

My 2 cents; use this forum to pick some stuff up! I'm new to the forum too, and was able to pick up; a passenger seat my wife loves, a corbin touring seat for me, a windshield, 2 riding jackets, and a helmet, all at an excellent price.

If it is something not available here, alot of the discussion will help you find what you want, and kind of prioritize what you want to do to your ride.

This site is a great tool, use it.

Stage 1 slip ons
Corbin Touring seat
Mini windshield
Passenger seat
More to come!!

Default tour passenger seat and pegs

I have the tour passenger seat, backrest and the foot pegs I bought new when I bought my new 06 8ball. Never used, the wife will not ride and she made me take it off, being I'm a young stud! I'll check to make sure the still in new shape.
