I bought a set of the Hacker Tru-Duals and have gone back to the Victory stock pipes. If I get the wild hair to put duals on the bike again they'll be RPW or someone else, but not Hacker.
I wasn't impressed with the Hacker duals right off the bat in that the heat shields did not fit properly, the rear pipe sat so close to the starter solenoid it burned up 3 of them, and the Hacker fuel management system (the Anger Management System, or AMS) never seemed to work properly; either the bike ran too lean or too rich. I could never find that "sweet spot" in the middle and when the bike started getting only 24 mpg and another starter solenoid got roasted, I got rid of the pipes. Oh, and even after applying high-quality thermal exhaust tape and high-temp silicone to the wrapped pipes, the heat radiating from that rear pipe was still beyond uncomfortable on my left leg.
So I can't say how the Rippers will work for you but after my experience with the Hacker duals, I'd look into other options.
Good luck, let us know what you go with and how they're working out for you and, safe riding.
