Default Cobra fi2000 problem

So I recently bought a 2012 highball. It came with basani pipes and a K&N filter. The previous owner didn't remap it or have a fuel programmer. Today I installed a cobra fi2000 programmer. When I started the bike it wouldn't run for more then a few seconds and fuel was coming out of one of the exhaust pipes. I rechecked all the connections and still the same issue. I took the programmer off and the bike runs fine. Any ideas???? I'm thinking its a bad programmer or they sent me the wrong one.

If you check these forums, you'll see there isn't much love for that Cobra. I had one. However it never did that.
First thing to do is to take it out and see if the problem continues.

[EDIT] Tomorrow I go back to school for reading comprehension.
Definitely seems like a problem. There is a pot inside the Cobra you might be able to adjust. I believe mine was at about the 4 o'clock position.
