Default Oil change $125?!?

Does that seem right? I've always done my own but this seems to have some crush gasket and takes a special oil? My low oil light came on so I wanna get it done soon.

That's a low oil pressure light. Don't drive it if it's on while the engine is running

$125 for an oil change is for the weak of mind it would have to be. Are you saying this is the kit price or how much
they want to do it?

It's what they want to charge. The oil light itself isn't on. But when I first give the bike power it says lo oil on the gauge. What should be done?

For one thing we have no idea what model or year your bike is or where you live. If you're out of the USA prices vary widely.

2013 high ball and I live in New Jersey. I would think the lo oil sign on the speedo would be basically the same for every model.

It is a low oil PRESSURE light. There is no electronic/instrumented measurement of oil level. If your oil pressure is low, do not ride or even start the bike. Check out and fix the problem.

Also, if you turn on the ignition but do not yet start the bike, of course you are going to get a LO OIL message because there is no oil pressure until you start the engine.

See that's what I was asking. I'm used to riding bikes that just have a speedo and that's it. Just picked this up a week ago.
