Default Chopped the rear fender on my HiBall

I couldn't stand the way the rear fender looked, so I decided to change it up. Honestly, I was a little nervous to do it, but I got over it...lol

I like the chop but it sits a little high now doesn't it?

It has a tail light and turn signals. Here is a pic with a better view.

And, yes it looks like it sits higher now that you see the space between the tire and the fender. I want to put a 1 1/2" lowering link on. I have a sissy bar that I am getting powder coated, and a rear seat that will be going on. Just wanted to ride yesterday, so I left it a single seater.

Looks great except for the height. I think a 1.5" drop will help but it will still look pretty high.

Looks great, but drop it an inch or two. I dropped mine 3" in the rear.

nice. I want to do a very similar thing to my vegas, but was wondering about what i'd do about lights.
I found some mini-bullets, but....
you know, at radioshack, they have superbright red and yellow LED's for about 1.,50 each.
all we have to do is mount it, and put a couple resistors in line with the power supply to lower it down from 12-13 volts, to about 5, or maybe 9. depends on which led's you get.
looks super cool, I used to have a sidemount brake light, too. along with little blinkers like that, but I really like these invisible style that mounts right under the back edge of the fender.
I wanna try and re-use that if I can.
