Default Getting headlight open for HID Install

This may be an extremely short thread. I've searched here, the service and user manual and I'm a bit perplexed. Stock bullet style headlight. Got the 6000 dual kit from VictoryHID.

I assume to get to the bulbs and innards you remove four Allen screw's that hold the top cover, correct?

I've done that but the cover isn't budging. Is there a trick to getting the headlight cover off?

I'm having a duh moment and don't want to force it and screw the pooch breaking something.

Figured it out. Now to cram a whole bunch of stuff in there. Love 12v projects.

HIDs done and height adjusted. Fun little project. Vast improvement.

I know right. Riveting. LOL! A nail biting epic thread.

Now I know though how much crap is stuffed in the headlight can. Which explains why the bullet fixture is so big. When you see the size of the two HID ballasts you might panic a bit but they go in fine with some gentle folding and persuasion.

One thing confirmed though. Unlike Harley's, since the connectors for the hand controls are right there, you don't have to pull the tank, it appears, to do internal handlebar wiring. You can get to everything right there. Even the front signal connections.
