Default broken clutch cable on highball

Anyone know if a harley cable will work ? I can order the vic part but was looking for a quick fix today. And I've already driven it w vice grips. Not going to make a habit of that.

How many miles on your HB? There is a patch kit you can buy at any bike shop...

Damn, I guess I better pay closer attention to my cable ends.
I thought they fixed this a few years ago.
Did it break up at the clutch lever?

Any auto part store or bicycle shop will have a cable stops in a repair kit cheap- you might have to drill them out a bit bigger-Barnett makes a nice one too-kind of late now but get a few and keep with the bike, they're so small you can duct tape 'em in a side cover.
