Default Greetings From East Central Alabama

Hi All,
I have decided to get a motorcycle after a 28 year hiatus. After doing a motorcycle safety course, I intend to get a bike for riding on the weekend and the occasional long trek. I'll start a new thread in the appropriate area later looking for info.

Welcome to the forum Charlie.
I love my Vic but I am not sure it would make a good welcome back to riding bike. Take the Basic Rider Course, BRC, from your local authority. In my opinion that is the place to start. I was gone from riding for much less time than you but found it an invaluable tool for me. Once that is under your belt start exploring bikes in earnest. You may come back to Victory but not necessarily. If not, best wishes on getting back into riding. To me enjoying the ride is what it is all about. Do that and come back here if it turns out to be a Victory. If not, I still wish you all the best. We all feel the same wind in our hair after all.

Present ride - 2013 Victory Vision, black, ATW at +3, Lloydz air filter and adjustable intake, PC5, 30,xxx miles
