Default New guy

Hello all. I just bought a new XCT (2013 and Red) after riding a Honda Valkyrie Interstate for 15 years. Hope to learn the ins and outs of the Victory from you guys. A week old, seven hundred miles with first service out of the way. Leaving Thursday for a 4000 mile ride with a few others.

Not sure how much you read here but in case you haven't seen it the most common issue with new bikes is loose battery cables. Before you head out I suggest getting a couple 1/4 lock washers, pulling the cables off your battery and installing the washers between the bots and the cables.

Enjoy your ride. What other bike could you just take out for 4k mile with not a worry? Your Victory is certainly one of them.

I had a great trip. Logged 3571 miles. I am very happy with the way my XCT handles. No problems and only used about 2/3 the gas I am used to with my old Valk.
