Default New Member looking for advise

Hi all, I am new to the forums and to Victory. I have been a motorcycle nut for over 29 years. I have owned many brands but I have been interested in Victory for a while. Well I went to the demo days ride and now I am hooked. I intend on ordering a new 2014 xc due to the available discounts and 5 year warranty but would like some opinions on the color choices. Victory has put out some great paint jobs and some not so great paint jobs through out the different years. I know this is completely subjective but a small poll may help me since I have looked so long now they all look the same. I am leaning toward the two tone suede supersteel and black or just the black. What are the opinions of the group for the 2014 xc?

I don't understand. Witch one do you like and want to see in the garage. 90% of us never ask what color we though they bought what they like. Buy what you and the wife like. Before we tell you pink

Normally I would never ask such a petty question but I thought I would just see what most people like. I did like the 2013 Black with Flame but it's not available in 2014 and my dealer can no longer order it. My wife likes the 2015 Red and Flame but if I order that I am out the discount and the 5 year warranty. My question is purely out of curiosity. I mean no harm.

Gotta agree with visionjohny, buy what you like. Money does matter, however, the more you like the appearance, the more you'll enjoy it, ride it, and take care of it.

For what its worth I've always had Black on black bikes, with few exceptions,... but with the Vic Vegas I went to Metallic Blue with lashings of Chrome!

buy whatever turns you on ...but make sure the 5 year warranty don't preclude you from making mods for five years.

Cos once you get used to it you'll wanna unleash the Beast in it!

Enjoy

Thanks for the input guys. I hate ordering something from pictures but I love the xc so I am sure it will be fine. The dealer is giving me a package deal with the Tri oval stage one kit. I rode a 2015 that had the kit installed and really liked the sound. It felt like it had a little more pep to it but that could have been how the sound made me feel .

Once you settle on a price get them to throw in the 500 mile service for free it will save you $200 bucks

word to the wise. Make the wife happy and you'll have thousand of fun miles.
How much does the dealer want to order one. It sounds like BS to me. Try a diffrent dealer

Out the door price and all fees with Tri-oval stage one kit installed and rear back rest $18926.78. I believe list is $20999.00 and I could go with black for $1000.00 cheaper than the custom color. Is that a good to average deal in everyones opinion? The rebates dry up at the end of the month so I need to move soon.
