Hello Everyone. I just sold my VTX1800 Neo and picked up a 2014 Cross Country. I love the bike. It is gorgeous! Victory has really impressed me for the last couple of years. Quick question, Is the clutch cable on these newer ones anything to worry about? I have considered just buying a hydraulic clutch kit now to save headaches, but have read that the issue is less common in newer Victory's. Can anyone advise? Other than that, I want to thank everyone in advance for helping me decide on this new bike. Your comments and posts have really swayed my decision to get this bike over the several others I also considered.

Default Hey Weeds

I see you have a V Star 1100. I had one of those before the VTX. Very fun bikes too. Loving this XC though.

No. The clutch cables have been reliable now for at least the past 3 model years.
