Default Indian rider prob going to victory

Hello,

As You read in the headline Im currently riding a Indian Chief classic.
Before my purchase I was torn between a XR and the Chief.
I bought the Chief (looks so damn good) and have regrets.
I just cant get comfortable on the bike, feel cramped en have a sore ass(first bike to give me this complain).
BTW Im 1m86 and probably to big for an Indian as I have read other complaints in this regard.

Now Im thinking I might go bagger or tourer as I like to do Long days in the sadle.

Is there a big difference in lean angle and ground clearance between a CCT and the Magnum?

Or could some one Ask this question in the Cross - section of this forum as I dont seem to have the rights yet, and have not been able to command on much else here as a noob into Victory.

Thanks in advance
Greets from Belgium

Hiya netje. One more post and you will have access to the rest of the forum.

I used to have a GoldWing for 10 years and I used to scrape pegs on it. I have not yet scraped pegs on my Cross Country Tour but it feels like I've ridden it just as hard.

I tested a couple of the Indians, and I am WAY more comfortable on the Vic. I felt very cramped on the Indian.

Hi Broggyr

Thanks for the reply.
See that you changed your sadle, was the original not comfortable on the long haul?

The Magnum is a lowered and raked XC so ground clearance would be less on the Magnum, since the ground clearance is less the lean angle would be less as well.

Also this is the first complaint I've read about Indian seats. It seems that the majority of X bike owners are happy with the OEM seats but there are several people on the forum that upgraded to aftermarket. I have a Drag Specialties seat now but I only changed from the OEM seat because it was getting worn out.

I'm a fatass so not really.
BUT it what is much better than any other seat I had including my Goldwing. The ultimate seat is just much better.
