Default Newbie with a frame question

My 2005 Kingpin has a bent frame but I have access to a 2006 frame. Does anyone know the difference in the specs? Could I modify the 2006 to work without too much difficulty?

Thumbs up

I'm hoping so. They're different part numbers from the dealer and they changed to a 6 speed tranny and a larger motor in 2006.

I may have jumped the gun on my answer , the exhaust mounts seem to be similar , but different . That seems to be the only visual difference . You more then likely can work around it , you can do anything if you put your mind to it , and have the right tools .

06 frame will not accommodate the 92" motor. The 100/6 that came in it is 10mm narrower. and the swing arm mount is also slightly different

Though anything can be done with enough force

I'm not an asshole...I just type that way

I was afraid of that. Is the frame itself narrower or is there a mounting bracket that's different?
