Default new posting

Hi
I have not posted anything on this web site before. I have a 2014 CR 8 ball with stock pipes and want to upgrade. I like a louder sound and also wonder if I should go to a true 2 pipe system. what are some recommendations. I also have a 08 kingpin 8 ball that has true duels and victory performance pipes I like the sound but could be a touch louder. looking for similar sound from CR.

Thanks
Tom

There's a large amount of info on the exhaust topic. This one is most recent and has great info in it. Welcome to the forum!

The left muffler on a stock touring exhaust serves 3 purposes. 1) It holds up the saddle bag. 2) it gives the bike a balanced look/sound. 3) and most importantly. It breaks the reversion wave, and diverts excess pressure on decell. To date nobody has been able to improve on the original design in any way. Not by modding the pipe, and not replacing it with a 2-1. Essentially the engineers hit a grand slam with this set up
