Went fro a BMW KT1200LT to a 2013 XCT last August for the lower seat and center of gravity. A lot more comfortable ride for the rider. After 2,500 miles my only complaints might be the gas gauge appears to drop quickly below a half tank and computer miles remaining disappears when the low fuel light comes on. The heat the V-twin throws off on a hot day seems excessive (great on cool days tho..). And the engine, transmission noises seem extreme.
Overall I am very happy and consider it the best bike I have ever owned.
Welcome from Puyallup, & congrats on the new Vic. Our club; Cascade Victory Riders will be in your area this Saturday at Hinshaws in Auburn, then riding to Cliff's in Bremerton. You can PM me if you want more info.
Welcome from another W. WA rider. I also am new to the V-Twin game. First thing I did was burn my right leg when I put it down. Being a sportbike rider I've a lot to learn and I'm not used to the heat yet.
