Default New Rider

I am a new Victory rider. I bought a 2017 Victory Vegas knowing full well Victory was shutting down but after all the reviews I read, Victory still seemed like the way to go. Part of the reason I joined the Victory forum was to learn about the various performance upgrades available. I already have the stage 1 exhaust, but how easy is it to upgrade to the torque tubes, timing gear and cams in Canada. Is there something in the Toronto area I can get this done?

Thanks

I don't know in the Toronto area there might be to help you get these mods done but it sounds like you have the right idea.

You'll want a PC-V tuner to go with your cams and Torque Tubes. You can easily install the timing wheel in just minutes. Just be careful with the torque on the bolts. There have been a few who got a little too strong with them and broke one off in there.

If possible do the wheel then do the other performance mods all at once then get it dyno tuned by someone who knows Vic's. There are probably some tunes done on the same engine with the same mods around if you can find someone to share it with you. You should still get it dialed in with the dyno because, as you know, every engine is a bit different even if they come off the assembly line one after the other.

Welcome!

Grab the passport, ride down to Iowa and have the job done. Some of us may even met up with you for the ride! ( shameless advertising plug )! I live in Chicago area.

I may be selling here shortly the PCV, Autotune and timing wheel. No dyno needed unless you want to inch a couple more HP out of it. That way you only need the cams added. Some have done it themselves. Depends on your time and skills.

Lloydz is way closer for him. Put bike on trailer and go to NY might coast around 2 grand. You'll get the best performance man around to give you plenty of power.

Or make an appointment, then ride it down, rent a car for a couple of days and see parts of NY which can be very pretty, then ride it home, done.
