Goes back to the start again to see your mods...Strange VJ hasnt hassled you to fill out yr signature for quick reference as to what yr riding what mods and where you are...makes our job easier..
My IAV stays put...easy enought to check.
I like one slot makes counting turns easier on my fractured brain cells.
Some say mine should pump more Horses with whats done to it 114/133 .
But thats DownUnder Horsepower and we never make as much as you guys.
Its very rideable, cuts a low 12 and idles at 1000rpm.
If I was you and in your sutuation I'd think seriously about adjusting the throttle up.
Then again pro help is only a phone call away.
I ring Lloydz when I need to as well as ring Kevinx , Kev's been a big help over my build ,I have to stay up real late to catch him in the morning and hes happy to talk Vic.
He'll soon let ya know if hes gotta go or if hes flat out he will say so...
Pick up the phone mate and talk to the tech-sperts.....least yr timezones closer

This forum won't let me make a signature, I tried. I don't know why, but that's why I don't have one.

I called Lloyd several times and he was always unavailable, so I started emailing him.

And that's where I'm at now

I will just add its not enough to just check battery bolts
We need to seperate and clean the matingsurfaces of All connections at the battery and then tighten with a star washer and cover with grease.
Only then ca you be certain.
And dont hurt to check earthstrap at engine though its in a shit of a spot.

Just saw yr latest reply...Id ring Kevinx then see what he thinks.

Gotta go rains stopped and partly blue sky

MBX--I never use the slots in the IAV to count rotations and I even painted a mark on the screw head. On a Cross bike, that bugger is next to impossible to see, so I use the markings on the screwdriver to count the turns. That's the reason I don't want the screwdriver to slip and made it so a Phillips will work. Us northern hemisphere folks have to deal with more gravity than you do, you know.

Got the bike back out after having to replace broken spokes in the rear and a screw in the front tire. Rode it for 272 miles around western Colorado last weekend. The bike runs great. But still that crappy cold idle.
I think I will call this Kevin fella. Who has contact info for him?
