Default Need recommendations

Gday, I joined up here hoping to get some advice on regards to my 2014 victory hammer. I'm looking at getting rid of the stock rear shock and was hoping to get other peoples recommendations who actually ride and know what's good and what's not .

You basically have a choice of three shocks. Stock, Penske, and Progressive.

I run a Penske on my XC and really like it. I've read very good things about the Progressive shock here too and they are the lesser expensive between the two non stock shocks.

Both are rebuildable indefinitely from what I understand.

I love my Progressive 465, tracks like its on rails and soaks up all but the most severe bumps.
Keeps on keeping on~!

Us Cross Country and Cross Roads guys are out of luck with Progressive. I believe the Penske is our only option other than air ride (no thanks).

I have to ask. Why do you want to spend $800 bucks for a different shock
