Default Long time love, first time owner

Hello from Northern Indiana.
I fell in love with Victory Motorcycles at first sight and that love was set in stone after my first demo ride.

Well I finally bought my first one, a '13 Sunset Red XCT! Its great to be apart of VicNation.

Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

A soggy hi from the Pacific Northwet -although a lot of guys here are complaining about too much rain where they are too. You are gonna love that bike, not only for its riding attributes, but how simple and easy it is to do your own work on. And we here can offer a lot of help with advice for that. There are things to know, such as oil level is checked only with the bike vertical. Never use compressor air for the rear shock. Frequently check the clutch adjustment, if it's cable operated.
Read the manual and that will answer many questions you might have. And have fun.

2010 Midnight Cherry XR. 7Jurock, Lloydz AF, ATS, AFR tuned VFCIII, IAV, and T-6 and locally repacked pipes = big smiles. SOLD to a dear friend, so it's still in the family."
2017 Spyder F3 Limited - keeps this old guy in the wind and riding with friends.

[QUOTE=RICZ;2540983]A soggy hi from the Pacific Northwet -

Thanks for the welcome and tech tips.

Its wet, hasn't topped 50 and leaves are falling all around. Other than the diminishing riding season, this is the most beautiful time of the year.

Haha yes IndyVictory = Indianapolis.

I run up to Michigan at least once a year so I was sort of near you.
