Default New member intro

Hello. I am new to the forum and also a new Vic owner. I just purchased a 2014 XCT. I love the bike, but I am having a shifting/transmission/clutch issue I will post about separately.

Default Welcome From Tennessee

Enjoy your bike to the fullest Mike. It's a great one. Get you a back rest if it doesn't have one and you'll enjoy long rides even more.
It can handle anything you are man enough to put it through.

If you have the manual, read it through, especially about adjusting the clutch cable. If you did not get a manual with the bike, you can download one. There are some very important things to know about your XCT before you do something wrong.
Preloading the shifter will give you smoother and quieter shifts.
If you have specific questions, fire away - we are here to help you out of your money.

Howdy and welcome. Here's a service manual download to get you started if you don't already have one.

Hopefully it's either an adjustment at the clutch cable or at worst something just inside the primary and not inside the engine compartment.
