Default Another Vic

Hi everyone. I just snagged up a 2012 XR LE Classic with 5k miles. Needs tires and an oil change but in great shape with a Bassani Road Rage on it and a few other upgrades.
I previously owned a Vision and several other bikes before and in between. In the end I love the 106 motor. The Vision was the best touring/cruiser I have owned and I have had many. I didn't like the heat in the summer here in NC. Other than that was outstanding. I am looking forward to putting some miles on the XR which feels much lighter than the Vision.

Previous Rides [LIST]
  1. Indian Super Scrambler
  2. Bultaco Lobito
  3. Ossa DMR
  4. Dalesman 125 Scrambler
  5. Honda 750 CBR
  6. Suzuki GS 1100ES
  7. Yamaha RD 250
  8. Honda VTX
  9. Kawasaki Coucours 1000
  10. Kawasaki Vulcan 1500
  11. Honda V4 Magna
  12. Valkyrie Tour 1500
  13. Victory Vision
  14. Can Am Spyder
  15. Indian Chief Vintage
  16. Honda CTX 1300
  17. Kawasaki Concours 1400
  18. Victory Cross Roads LE Classic

I am sure that isn't all but it has been a long journey with many miles and I would rather ride an out of production motorcycle made by a defunct builder than anything on the market today. Victory....

I have had my 2010 XR since new, that's over 8 years and no problems. I especially like the lower CofG than XCs and Visions have and that it's a convertible with the removable windshield. It's a lot easier to work on than the Vision, particularly when upgrading the steering head bearings to all tapered rollers.

And I thought I buy too many bikes. I'm on number 5 ( Cross Country Tour ) but didn't start until my 50s.
