Hello Everyone! I came here to do some research on the Victory Octane. I know it's a rare bike and with Victory no longer operating it'll be harder to maintain. But after looking at the Indian Scout somebody told me to look at the Octane. So that's why I'm here!
Octane isn't my style I got places to go so picked up a used Victory Cross Country Tour last May. I love city commuting on this bike. Weird I know.
Check the used market. Generally I read bad things about Flatout service department online. Do your own work.
Plenty of brand new Octane parts online for cheap. Dealers around country still have them and they want them gone. So you can score some great deals.
Octane does use different parts than other Victory. (maybe common with Indian?) So that might be a thing but no worries on ordering OEM parts you can still do that if needed. Just no accessories from Victory.
Welcome from North Florida .. Being a Scout Owner for 2 years can definitely say between the 2 would rather have the Octane .. If the Octane had come out before the Scout no question would have went that route .. To my eyes the Octane Looks Better and No question at all has more Power .. There are Octanes around for sale at good prices if do some serious searching ..
